About Me
I have been a Marketing Teacher and DECA Advisor since 2000. Before that, I worked in the marketing and advertising agency business in both Boise and Seattle.
I grew up in Boise, Idaho, graduated from Borah High School and Boise State University (go Broncos!). I have a bachelor's degree in marketing and master's degrees in Business Education (M.Ed) and Business Administration (MBA).
In addition to teaching and advising my DECA students, I have coached high school football and worked as a professional whitewater raft guide. I love to be outdoors and hike, mountain bike, kayak, ski, and snowboard whenever I can.
North Creek marketing students participate in DECA, a global leadership organization that prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management. DECA has over 225,000 members from nearly 3,800 schools from throughout the world.
