When: 2nd Tuesday of June, July, August
Start Time: 7:15 (fun run 1mile); 7:30 pm (5k)
Cost: $10 for the series, or $4 for an individual race
Registration: 6:30 pm, race day only
The Stillman Foote Running and Walking Club would like to announce the Summer Sunset Series dates for 2026. Races will take place on Tuesday June 9th, July 14th and August 11th. These community races include a one-mile fun run for kids of all ages and a 5km cross-country race.
They always take place the second Tuesday of the month in June, July and August. Registration begins at 6:30 pm next to the J-lot on the St. Lawrence University campus. The 1-mile fun run begins at 7:15, followed by the 5k cross country run at 7:30. This year we will hold a 7:00 start for walkers (optional) to provide an opportunity for companionship or competition.
Walkers and runners of all abilities are welcome. The registration fee is $10 for the series or $4 for an individual race. Registration is race-day only. Those who complete all three races can earn a T-shirt. We encourage walkers to begin early so everyone is finished before dark.

The Tibbetts Point Run is a fast and flat "out-and-back" 5k/10k course that starts right at the heart of the village of Cape Vincent. Run along the mighty St. Lawrence Seaway while enjoying spectacular views of the river. 10k runners will go all the way out to Tibbett's Point Lighthouse and back, while the 5k runners will have a turnaround halfway on the route.It's one of the most scenic routes in Upstate NY! Walkers are welcome to sign up for the "TPR Mile Walk" and will also receive a Finisher Medal and T-shirt.Come out for time-honored event, stay for the charm of the village shops and eateries!

Our 2026 event will be Sunday, August 2 with a start time of 11:00 am from the old Star Lake Schoolhouse. Knowing Star Lakes weather, the temperature shouldn't be a problem, but be prepared for our North Country summer. The awards will follow ASAP and don't forget there will be refreshments and our famous Pie Social.
The shirts this year will be Light Pink with Tropical Blue letter, if you would like your name, camp, or business printed on the back, you can do so for $25. Major sponsors are $100 for larter print.
The first 100 registrants will receive a t-shirt. Plaques will be given for 1st, 2nd, 3rd in women and men.
