Hi, I'm Kuldeep Baral.
I built NorthClover because I kept doing the same thing over and over: writing a goal in a journal, forgetting about it for months, then rediscovering it and feeling worse for not having done it. I needed one place where today's writing and my actual direction lived together - so I built it. I use it every day. This is that app.
NorthClover is a private, self-hosted journal that connects what you write today to what you're actually trying to achieve this year. Daily entries, weekly reviews, a 6-month planner, a yearly goal, a place for the ideas that move you, a persistent reminder of your bigger why, and a reward system that makes showing up feel like a game - all running on your own device, with nobody else able to see it.
There's no cloud server behind NorthClover. Your writing stays on your device unless you explicitly choose to sync it between your own phone and your own computer, over your own Wi-Fi - nothing ever passes through a server in between.
Available on Windows (desktop) and Android (mobile), with an optional sync between the two.
If NorthClover is useful to you, I'm glad. If you want to reach out - feedback, a bug, or just to say hi - email me at baralkuldeep7@gmail.com. I read and answer every one myself.
