COMMUNITY ENTITIES
Community entities play a vital role in responding to emergencies by providing critical support, resources, and coordination during crises. These entities include local government agencies, emergency management teams, fire departments, law enforcement, and medical responders, all of which work together to ensure public safety.
Nonprofit organizations, faith-based groups, and mental health professionals also contribute by offering shelter, food, emotional support, and trauma-informed care to those affected.
Additionally, volunteer groups and community networks assist in disaster relief, providing manpower and logistical support to fill gaps in emergency response. By collaborating, these entities enhance resilience and recovery efforts, ensuring that communities receive the help they need during and after disasters.
If you belong to a community entity and would like to collaborate with the North Carolina Trauma Recovery Network, please complete this Community Entity form and one of our Co-coordinators will reach out to you.
