History
Our community has its roots in Aurelith. For many generations, we tried to build a life there, but we were never fully accepted. The people of Aurelith treated us as inferior, refusing to see us as equals. This constant discrimination created frustration and a strong desire for independence.
At that point, one leader emerged from among us, his name was Edmund. He had the courage to say what many were already thinking: if we stayed in Aurelith, we would never have the chance to live in dignity. With a clear vision for the future, he convinced our people to leave behind the land where we were never respected. His leadership gave us hope and direction at a time when we needed it the most.
The journey that followed was not easy. Leaving Aurelith meant crossing harsh landscapes: dry deserts, steep mountains, and even arctic conditions in the north. The route was long and dangerous, and many doubted if we would ever find a safe place. But our leader kept our community united, reminding us that freedom was worth the struggle. After months of hardship, we finally arrived in a new and unclaimed territory.
This new land became what we now call Northavia. It was unlike anything we had seen before: vast, untouched, and full of contrasts. There were deserts with hidden oases, fertile plains near the coasts, and a frozen climate in the far north. Resources were limited, but we saw opportunities. We knew this would not be an easy life, yet it was a life we could shape ourselves, without the oppression of outsiders.
Here, we chose to live as nomads. Instead of building cities or settling permanently, we decided to move with the seasons, following the needs of our animals and the possibilities of the land. We became self-reliant, carrying all our possessions with us and depending on our families and community ties. This nomadic lifestyle gave us independence, flexibility, and resilience.
But our freedom also attracted enemies. Country 3, much smaller in size and less rich in natural spaces, soon grew jealous of what we had found. They saw in us not only a threat but also an opportunity. Slave hunters from Country 3 began to enter our lands, attempting to capture our people and take advantage of our way of life. These threats still exist today and remain one of the biggest dangers to our community.
