Letters From the Editors
Hello Hums readers!
First of all, thank you for all of your wonderful submissions to this year’s NORTH journal. This year has been filled with so much creativity and traditions! This year, we got to host a couple of events that many of us have never experienced before, like Soup Day! We are so happy that we could bring back this tradition that many of us have heard about but hadn’t experienced because of the pandemic. We also appreciated all of your participation at our revamped Valentine’s Day card-making event. While it was a change from NORTH’s typical poetry reading, we hope you all had fun and, who knows, maybe it could be a new tradition. This was a year full of changes as we had the first hoodie for NORTH merch! Thank you all again for making our merch such a success. Hope y’all are enjoying the pockets on the merch this year!
While many of us have had our four years at the College be a little different because of the pandemic, we hope NORTH has made it a little easier. With things finally being (mostly) back to normal this year, we hope you all have had the joy of making great memories at NORTH events or been inspired by NORTH to create some amazing art.
To our fellow editors: you have made this such an amazing and fun year for NORTH. With all of your fun ideas to patience with us when we were just a little disorganized, we appreciate you guys so much! With Bianca and Isabelle as your senior editors next year, we’re sure the next NORTH year will be one for the books.
Thank you again to all of our contributors and we hope you enjoy the journal!
Thora and Olivia
