27.05.2025: Our invited speaker, Mr. Yusuke Hatayama (Managing Director of Oriental Motor Italia s.r.l.) gave an insightful talk about his company's strategies for success in the European market.
Oriental Motor Co., Ltd., founded in 1885 and based in Tokyo, Japan, is a top manufacturer of motion control equipment. The company focuses on compact electric motors & related products such as actuators, motor drivers, & control networks. Its product lineup includes speed control motors, brushless motors, stepper motors, servo motors, gear motors, electric actuators, cooling fans, & network devices.

26.05.2025: The 2nd "Doing Business in Foreign Markets" Group Presentation Competition in the University of Bergamo (Italy)
The group presentation competition, in which 20 teams participated, took place from 19.05.2025-21.05.2025. I am truly proud of the students who put in so much effort in their preparation & delivered such passionate, confident & outstanding presentations. Congratulations to all the winners!
1st Place: Elisa Colombini, Gaia Nicoli, Marco Pastore & Valentina Ghirga, Project Title: "STMicroelectronics: A Strategic Expansion"
2nd Place: Alessia Nava, Federica Rota, Laura de Santis & Paola Medica, Project Title: "Quality, Relationships & a Touch of Boldness: An Italian Hidden Champion Conquering the United States"
3rd Place: Annalisa Gaudiano, Federico Santinelli, Leonardo Freri & Riccardo Resta, Project Title: "Managing a Scalable Startup in India"
19.09.2024: Mr. Tetsuji Santazono (President of Nikkei Europe Ltd./Management Board Member of the Financial Times) visited me & our Department.
Nikkei Inc. is a Japanese newspaper company. In addition to publishing newspapers such as the Financial Times & Nihon Keizai Shimbun, it also manages digital media, publishes, broadcasts, sponsors & rewards cultural projects. It is also known for calculating and publishing the Nikkei Stock Average (Nikkei 225) as Japan's main stock index.
