How can we better design our water systems in a time of drought and uncertainty? How do our homes effect watersheds upstream and downstream of our faucet? The answer is a lot!
Come and learn about our relationship to the indigenous food web that water connects us to. Then we’ll get down to brass tacks, crunch the numbers and co-design a radical new water system for Golden Gate Co-housing in North Oakland. Learn how to design integrated rain-gardens, greywater irrigation and drainage systems that create edible, habitat and ornamental gardens for stunningly lively and resilient gardens.
