Make sure the bowl you're using is squeaky clean and has no water or oil!
Before whipping, make sure the egg whites are at room temperature, this will make sure that the egg whites can be beaten to their highest volume! Don't get this confused with putting everything in the refrigerator because although this trick is amazing when whipping cream, it can work against you when making meringue!
Whipping egg whites is hard! You may not get it on your first try! But, don't be discouraged! It takes practice, so don't worry just keep going! Happy baking! :)
