Noli Cannoli's Bakery Service (NCBS) was established in April 2020, right after the Covid-19 pandemic devastated the United States. Everything was so uncertain and everyone seemed to be experiencing a never-ending cycle of fear, loneliness, and boredom. So I decided to try to make a difference. As a homegrown business owner, I strove to cheer people up in the face of tragedy. Over the years, I had discovered that nothing could compare to the look of pure joy, surprise, and happiness on someone's face when they were presented with a box of homemade cookies. Gratitude and compassion remain at the forefront of NCBS. Starting up during the pandemic wasn't easy. But, I've pushed through and adapted. I'd like to think NCBS brings people hope. Ultimately, I want to make someone's day in a sometimes gloomy world, help our planet, and most of all, give back what I get.
NCBS is a small business grounded in sustainable practices. I strive to give back to nature, which is why I use 100% biodegradable packaging. As a person living on this planet, I ask you to take the time to compost the packaging. It was important to me that NCBS used environmentally-friendly practices and promoted others to do the same. As a result, I always source my ingredients locally, organically, and certified-humane wherever possible. I am always looking for new ways to be more sustainable and give back to the environment. As humans, we take A LOT from the planet and we need to start giving back. We owe the planet a whole lot of debt. So, doing the little and big things to help out our planet has been a priority in creating NCBS. From simply composting your dessert box to donating to large sustainable foundations, everything counts.
I want to bring people joy with homemade baked goods and treats, while giving back to the planet. Order a dessert today and you will not only be supporting a local, small business, but donating to local charities and helping the planet. Thank you for your generous support.
I want to connect people through food. Food can bring us together even when we're physically apart. Food is powerful. It can be a feeling, a reminder of home, a memory. Use food to connect with friends for a meal over FaceTime. It may be awkward at first, but it'll be worth it. A simple treat can bring together neighborhoods, towns, friends, and family members. With food, you can be creative. Putting your own twist on your favorite sweet treats and making a recipe your own can be so empowering. I want to have a positive effect on my community. Food can traverse the things that keep us divided. It reminds us that we all matter and belong.
Hi there! I'm Noli and I am head baker and owner of Noli Cannoli's Bakery Service. I absolutely love baking and cooking and through NCBS, I want to share my knowledge and inspire other bakers. I started NCBS right after the pandemic hit, and it's only going up from here. For me (and I hope many others!), NCBS was the light at the end of the tunnel. Over several months, video calling friends to bake together every weekend blossomed into a fully fledged baking business! I'm beyond grateful to my friends, family, and wonderful customers who've supported NCBS since 2020. I hope you enjoy exploring my website and maybe even indulging in a delicious dessert. Thank you!
