1. Agreement

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the NoFoodMedWaste application ("the App").

NoFoodMedWaste is operated by Dimitrios Chrysanthakopoulos.

By creating an account, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must stop using the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least the minimum age required to provide consent for personal data processing under applicable law in your country.

By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Your account

To access certain features, you may be required to sign in using a Google account.

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your account

• Protecting access to your Google account

• Keeping your authentication credentials secure

• All activity that occurs through your account

You must immediately stop using the App and contact us if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Description of the service

NoFoodMedWaste is designed to help users:

• Track food products

• Track medicines

• Monitor expiration dates

• Create shopping lists

• Discover recipes

• Plan meals

• Receive reminders

• Reduce food waste

• Monitor sustainability impact

The App relies on information entered by users and information provided through third-party services.

5. Reminders and notifications

The App may provide:

• Expiry reminders

• Medicine reminders

• Product alerts

• Planning notifications

Notifications depend on factors outside our control, including:

• Device settings

• Browser settings

• Notification permissions

• Internet connectivity

• Operating system restrictions

Notifications may be delayed, unavailable, or missed.

You remain responsible for checking actual product and medicine labels.

NoFoodMedWaste does not guarantee that any reminder will be delivered.

6. Smart features and AI-assisted features

Certain features may use automated processing or third-party services to provide:

• Recipe suggestions

• AI Chef recommendations

• Smart Product Scan results

• Product information suggestions

• Shelf-life estimates

• Quantity recommendations

• Weekly meal planning suggestions

• Shopping recommendations

These suggestions are provided for convenience only.

Users remain responsible for reviewing and verifying all information before relying on them.

NoFoodMedWaste does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, suitability, or safety of AI-generated or automated suggestions.

7. Health disclaimer

NoFoodMedWaste is an organizational and informational tool only.

The App does not provide:

• Medical advice

• Healthcare services

• Pharmaceutical guidance

• Nutritional advice

• Professional dietary advice

The App must not be used to determine:

• Whether a medicine is safe to take

• Medication dosage

• Medication schedules

• Whether food is safe to consume

Always follow:

• Product packaging

• Medicine instructions

• Manufacturer recommendations

• Advice from qualified healthcare professionals

Recipe suggestions do not account for:

• Allergies

• Medical conditions

• Food intolerances

• Dietary restrictions

Users remain solely responsible for food preparation and consumption decisions.

8. Third-party services

The App may rely on third-party services including:

• Google

• Supabase

• Lovable

• Open Food Facts

• TheMealDB

Future versions may also use:

• RevenueCat

• Google Play Billing

• Apple In-App Purchases

We are not responsible for:

• Third-party service availability

• Third-party service interruptions

• Errors in third-party data

• Inaccurate product information supplied by third parties

Your use of third-party services may also be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

9. Family mode and shared features

If Family Mode or similar collaboration features are introduced and used:

• Shared information may become visible to invited household members

• You are responsible for deciding what information you share

• Household members may add, edit, or remove shared household information depending on feature permissions

NoFoodMedWaste is not responsible for actions performed by members of a shared household.

10. Premium features and subscriptions

Some features may be offered as Premium services in future versions.

Premium functionality may include:

• Family Mode

• Predictive Waste Prevention

• Smart Shopping

• Advanced Analytics

• PDF Reports

• CSV Export

Subscription pricing, billing terms, renewal terms, cancellation terms, and refund policies will be presented before purchase.

Your use of any future Premium services may be subject to additional terms.

11. Your content

You retain ownership of the information you enter into the App.

By using the App, you grant us the limited rights necessary to:

• Store your data

• Synchronize your data

• Process your data to operate the App

• Generate reports or recommendations requested by you

You agree not to:

• Violate any law

• Attempt unauthorized access

• Access another user's data

• Interfere with the App's operation

• Abuse the service

• Reverse engineer the App where prohibited by law

12. Availability

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We may:

• Modify features

• Add features

• Remove features

• Suspend access

• Discontinue services

at any time without prior notice.

We do not guarantee:

• Continuous availability

• Error-free operation

• Uninterrupted service

• Compatibility with all devices

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NoFoodMedWaste and its operator shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

• Food spoilage

• Expired medicines

• Missed reminders

• Incorrect product information

• Incorrect recipe suggestions

• Incorrect AI-generated recommendations

• Shopping decisions

• Meal planning decisions

• Lost data

• Service interruptions

• Third-party service failures

You use the App at your own risk.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NoFoodMedWaste and its operator from claims, damages, liabilities, expenses, or costs arising from:

• Your misuse of the App

• Violation of these Terms

• Violation of applicable laws

• Violation of third-party rights

15. Account termination

You may stop using the App at any time.

You may:

• Delete content within the App

• Delete your account through available account tools

• Request account deletion by contacting: nofoodmedwastesupport@gmail.com

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access where necessary to:

• Protect the App

• Enforce these Terms

• Comply with legal obligations

• Prevent abuse

16. Privacy

Your use of NoFoodMedWaste is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If significant changes are made, we will publish the updated version with a revised "Last updated" date.

Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

18. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of the App shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Greece.
