"Upon inheriting a mystical cottage on the anniversary of her brother's fateful disappearance, Ella Grimm must learn to believe in make-believe when she finds herself magically whisked away to the Land of Nod..."
"NOD, though quite limitless in inspiration and imagintation, is nothing more than a poem viewed through the lens of grief. "

A TALE of IMAGINATION
Every night in bed as a child, our director, Tristan, and his younger brother, Dominic, would be told by his mum to "venture" into the Land of Nod, a world of dreams... Upon Dominic's passing nearly three years ago, Tristan discovered The Land of Nod, a poem written by Robert Louis Stevenson, and has thus begun this journey to explore the impact of imagination and grief in our lives through an adaptation of R.L.S.'s poem, as an homage to his brother.
For our producer, Eliana, NOD is a celebration of the legacy of imagination. Eliana’s grandfather, Stan, had a big impact on her love for photography, music, and movies. “He’s the reason I do what I do.” With his recent passing, Eliana keeps the memory of Stan alive, and finds comfort in continuing to pursue their shared passion of art and storytelling.
