Rachyl

Since the age of three, Rachyl has been very passionate about dance. Along with her sisters, she's spent countless hours training in many styles including ballet, pointe, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, tap, hip hop, and musical theater. Over these 19 years of training, she has had many opportunities to grow as an artist including competing with her home studio, Springs City Dance Force, going to conventions, doing outreach performances, and attending summer dance intensives. Growing up in Colorado Springs, she also taught contemporary and ballet at J&J Hip Hop Dance Company and was a part of the Kinect Dance Collective company.

Rachyl is a senior transfer student at UNC and will graduate in May with her Bachelor's in Spanish with two minors in Dance and Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL). In addition to participating in school dance performances, she has been an active member of the Colorado Dance Collective (CDC) in Greeley since Fall 2019, and has recently picked up learning aerial silks. She looks forward to starting her traveling career teaching and dancing abroad after graduation.
