HDLC ExpressLane Update 

Since its launch on November 1st, 2025, the HDLC Expresslane has achieved impressive results.  The HDLC ExpressLane strike team has issued 115 Certificates of Appropriateness for qualifying work in under 3 days.  60% of ALL Certificates of Appropriateness issued by the HDLC  during  that period were issued via the ExpressLane and 98% of ExpressLane approvals were issued the same day as application.  These results reflect the strong emphasis that HDLC Staff places on responsive, efficient and effective customer service.  It also highlights that if property owners propose work that meets the HDLC Design Guidelines, its smooth sailing.  The HDLC ExpressLane team is available 9-5, Monday through Friday  to answer questions, assist with submitting applications online, and help property owners navigate the permitting system.  Congratulations to the HDLC Staff for achieving great results.
