Our church family is a work of God’s grace! We are an international community, composed of local Okinawans, Amer-asians, Japanese, Chinese, Filipinos, and Americans and any others the Lord may bring, that recognizes the value of an individual is not merely their outward demeanor, but the image of God forged in each individual as “fearfully and wonderful made.”
Our mission is 2-fold:
To preach the uncompromising Word of God.
To fulfil the Great Commission as found in Matthew 28 and Mark 16: to go – reach – preach/teach – baptize them – and make disciples who make disciples, both in word and in demonstration of the power of God.
Our vision is to see as many people as possible come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, and to see an authentic transformation of the heart leading to holiness and effectiveness in living daily lives as salt and light.
Similar to in the beginning, “The Spirit of the Lord is moving among the waters” of Okinawa/Japan—bringing a wind of revival unlike anything anyone has seen in this nation.
People are praying, investing, laboring, equipping, and coming into the harvest fields as never before.
Truly we are experiencing the fulfilment of Psalm 97:1:
“The LORD reigns, let the earth rejoice; Let the many islands be glad.”
If you want, I can also format this into a web-friendly block (shorter line lengths, consistent punctuation, and optional Bible references styling), but the content above already keeps your original wording and just organizes the headings/subheadings.
Our most recent goals are to:
Move into a larger facility which we can use daily and not just on Sundays only (our current condition).
Launch a kids bi-weekly feeding parlor.
Launch “Super Sunday-Funday” on the last Sunday of the month to reach kids from 4–14 years old with the gospel, and to follow up to the weekly gatherings.
Launch more “mini-churches” in regional areas around the island to both equip and encourage as they engage daily their communities.
