Description: Demolition of more than 50% of the roof at a Contributing rated, one-story, single family residential building. 

Staff Recommendations: 

FEMA survey research indicates that 1019 N Rendon was Constructed in 1885. The side hall single shotgun currently maintains it's massing at the front portion of the building and has several unsympathetic rear additions. The proposed renovation seeks to remove the rear additions, expand the footprint and add a Camelback addition. The total amount of roof demolition is 53%.The Guidelines for full control districts recommends camelback additions start at least two rooms back and removal of more than 50% of the roof is approvable. Staff recommends approval of the demolition of more than 50% of the roof structure.
