Hello families, I...Ms.Parker am so excited to have you here!

Below you can find all the details pertaining to enrollment and becoming a student of Naturally Nourished Tutoring Service.

HOURS|LOCATION

Tutoring sessions are held at 304 F Hillsboro Street in Oxford, NC. 

Hours of Operation: 

Mondays 3-7PM

Tuesdays 10-7PM

Wednesdays 10-7PM

Thursdays 10-7PM

Fridays 3-5PM

Homeschooling Services are offered at $500/ month with a total of 90 in person hours; 15/week. The Acellus Homeschool Platform is the curriculum used - which is a Private K12 Accredited Academy + NC State Standardized Testing upon completion of our school calendar year. 

COST

Families can sign their students up for a specific day or multiple days throughout the week. Sessions cost $30 per hour per student. Sessions are held in 1 hour increments. 

PAYMENTS

Families may pay for sessions monthly, weekly and or daily. All payments must be made prior to each session. Our brightwheel app is used to submit payment however we do accept the following:

CANCELLATIONS

Due to the increase in cancellations their are immediate changes regarding the cancellation fee and policy. Considering the current state of our economy all goods have increased which means higher bills for everyone! I have attempted to be lenient and thoughtful regarding cancelled sessions but we have arrived at a place in our journey where change must take place. There will NO LONGER be free monthly cancellation sessions moving forward beginning March 1, 2022. All cancelled sessions will be assessed a $25 hourly charge. Think daycare policy. The neighborhood has taken to us quickly and are beating down our doors for opened session slots. Your scholar has a reserved slot for them weekly and when they do not attend we miss out on revenue that ensures our business continues to run. Regardless of your scholar attending sessions or not payroll and our monthly commitments must still be made. Cancellation fees must be payed prior to your scholar returning to their session and after two weeks they will be forfeited from the program to free space for another possible scholar on our wait list. I do hope that you understand and can agree with our very necessary changes. I thank you for your dedication and commitment thus far.

NO SHOWS 

N.N.T.S is a small business and to ensure our revenue projections are made, all families are expected to communicate cancellations and schedule changes. After communication has been made twice with families regarding missed sessions with no communication (no show) your students slot will be revoked and available as a open slot for another client. Families are required to pay a No Show/No Communication fee at a rate of $25 per session prior to your student returning and must sign up for a new ongoing session slot. 

COVID 19 PRECAUTIONS

N.N.T.S. is taking all the necessary precaution to ensure our staff and students are safe. I ask that your student wear a mask during their session if possible. All surfaces are sanitized before and after each student. Sanitizer is also provided for each student at the beginning and end of each session. If your student is experiencing any illness of any kind that poses a threat to our environment and the well being of our staff and students we ask that it be communicated and that you keep your scholar quarantined until well. 

STUDENT EXPECTATIONS

Participating students are expected to work on homework and assigned work from Ms.Parker during tutoring; at home work will be given with exception to the weekends unless requested by parent/guardian. Parents most certainly set the parameters and areas of focus for each tutoring session! You are expected to arrive on time and prepared to learn. Students are expected to focus on their assignments and work collaboratively with their tutor. Students are expected to listen to directions and support a fun, safe, and respectful learning environment. Students are expected to use their time with their tutor wisely and avoid distractions. Failure to follow directions will lead to a call home and or expulsion from the program. 

PARENTS AND GUARDIANS are expected to drop off and pick up students on time to avoid spilling over into another students requested scheduled block . Parents and guardians are expected to contact me if their student plans to be absent on any tutoring day for which they had previously enrolled. Parents and guardians are expected to communicate any and all concerns in a timely manner.

LIABILITY

N.N.T.S. is not liable or responsible for any student or staff. Supervision will be given at all times and students are expected to heed to directions given while in the care of N.N.T.S
