What does "NNTS" stand for?
Naturally Nourished Tutoring Service.
We believe in nourishing our students and building relationships in order to cultivate the best relationships that yield educational growth through our services.
What is your camper/student to staff ratio?
1:3 Counselor to Camper. Our overall ratio in tutoring is 1 adult staff member to every 2 scholars
Do you background check your staff?
Yes, every staff member undergoes criminal background checks, sex offender checks, and a rigorous character reference process.
What does my child need to bring to tutoring/camp everyday?
TUTORING: Students should bring their homework or any supplies/communication that are needed from their school day. Along with masks, chromebook, charger, and headphones if applicable.
SUMMER CAMP: Campers should come dressed comfortably in closed toe shoes. On water days, camper should bring a change of clothes, towel, and water shoes. Sunscreen, and insect repellent are welcomed and encouraged. Camp NTTS does not allow toys, nor electronics, unless specified by staff.
Where do you all go swimming?
SUMMER CAMP ONLY: We swim at Ruckers Pool. Pool is supervised by Granville County lifeguards and Camp NNTS staff.
What COVID precautions will you all take?
Masks are optional per all campers and staff. This is subject to change. In the case of any state of emergencies and/or county lockdowns we will follow all CDC and NCHHS recommendations.
Do you all go on field trips?
TUTORING: No. However for Homeschool students, yes!
SUMMER CAMP: Yes, we attend weekly field trips. Examples of a field trips are, bowling, skating, laser tag, and etc. Swim day is not considered a field trip, and is a separate activity.
What is the attendance policy?
TUTORING: Students are expected to attend each school day. Parent is responsible for full payment per each week that school is in session.
SUMMER CAMP: Campers are expected to attend each camp day. Parent is responsible for full payment per each week that camper is registered for.
Is there a late fee for pickup?
SUMMER CAMP & AFTERSCHOOL: Late fee of $1 per minute will be applied to pickups after 6pm. Late fee is due the day of, and accepted in CASH ONLY.
When are payments due?
TUTORING: Payments are due each month prior to the next.
SUMMER CAMP: Payments are due every Friday, prior to the start of the program week.. All payments made after Friday will incur a $25 late fee. Late fee is active beginning on Saturday.
PLEASE NOTE: There are NO refunds, credits, or transfer of payments (credits) for sickness, mishaps, absences, or holidays.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept debit and all major credit card payments via Brightwheel website payment. We do accept cash, check, and/or money order.
What is the sick policy?
All campers/students feeling ill with any contagious and/or COVID symptoms are encouraged to stay home. IF student/camper has a fever of 99.6 and over, or any contagious condition such as stomach bug, pink eye, and etc. Student/camper will be excused 24 hours, and should return once they have been symptom free for 24 hours.
