Redistributed the same capstone survey two years later (April 2025) in order to compare and analyze results.

The Green Athletics Strategy is a working document designed to be reassessed and adapted each year to fit the group’s needs, targets, and goals. 

Two main focus areas: 

• Increase Education & Outreach

• Decrease Environmental Impact

The Green Athletics Action Plan is a more in-depth action plan based on the specific targets identified in the Green Athletics Strategy. 

Earlier versions of the Strategy and Action Plan can be accessed by request through the current NMU Green Athletics liaison.

This data was gathered through Google Forms distributed to each athletic team during their one-on-one meetings through the Sustainability Education Campaign.

The surveys included questions regarding which reusable items each team would like to have available to them, and which sustainability improvements should be made a priority by NMU's athletic department.
