Please be aware that the board will determine the need for this service while keeping close track of and staying within the budget. So, if it snows 2 or more inches but the forecast is such that the snow will melt within the next day or two, the board will not waste money on this service at that time.
The annual budget allows for tree trimming/maintenance. Association members will receive an email around February-March asking for input regarding trees that need to be trimmed and/or weak, dead, or diseased branches/trees that need to be removed. Depending on the number of submissions and based on the budget for this service, there may be a need to prioritize the need for work based on safety first, tree health second, and aesthetics last.
***
Please pay close attention to the trees around your home when they are in full leaf growth to determine low hanging branches that are getting close to touching your home as the solicitation and bid process will take place during the dormant season when the tree's appearance will not accurately reflect the need for trimming. During the dormant season is the best time to see dead or diseased branches.
