The NLCA wants you! As an organization, we are directed by the NLCA Council- who are people just like you- who work in and with learning communities of all kinds all around the country. We want you to join us and one way to do that is to nominate yourself (or someone else!) for open positions on the NLCA council.
How much work is it? Most of the committees meet monthly and the conversations are often fun because it's a group of people who like talking about the possibilities that learning communities bring to their campuses.
We are seeking nominations for the following two NLCA Council positions:
a) President-Elect-- nominations are now closed.
b) One "At-Large" Council Member Vacancy-- nominations are now closed.

A letter of interest and a CV or resume should be submitted for all nominees. Self-nominations are welcome and encouraged. The NLCA seeks a council that is representative of the Association's membership. Please consider nominating one of your colleagues or even yourself.
The position of President-Elect is a three-year term. At-Large Council members' roles are also three-year commitments. These terms are expected to begin on 11/1/2024 and expire in November of 2027, typically at the conclusion of the National Learning Communities Conference.
