Video editing happened to me absolutely by chance. Though I tried my hands on editing a few times earlier to create content for my place of work but actually it became my yet another full time job in 2020. While the pandemic of 2020 was creating havoc in the world, it somehow impacted me positively. As it is said, there is always a brighter side! So in March 2020 when everything in the world was closing down, the school also shut. My work as an activity and event coordinator came to a standstill owing to the restrictions triggered by the pandemic.
Eventually to keep myself occupied productively and maintain my worth at school, I started exploring this side of me. The school Principal insisted on gathering evidence of the all the work done at school through videos, to make it look concise, complete while keeping attractive too. That's how I researched a bit on Google and some blogs on best photo and video editing apps.
While iPhone provides apps like - Clips, iMovie, Keynote, PicCollage; I tried a few other apps like InShot, VivaVideo and others but finally came across this app called Videoleap from the Lightricks package. This proved to be an amazing tool along with its other supporting apps and I enjoyed exploring my creativity.

Vaccination Video - 11.03.21
The video was created using Videoleap with basic animation, text overlays and music. It was kept simple to keep to original content in focus.
*The gesture 'V' was suggested by me which turned out to be the highlight of the video.
Women's Day - 08.03.21
The video was created using Videoleap with animation, text overlays, masking, filters and music. The essence of the content was maintained by highlighting the messages.
Art Fiesta - 11.02.21
The video was created using Videoleap featuring the artworks of children during an inter-school art competition and trimming to ensure that their best message is heard. It was created using animated text overlays, colourful background and music.
Winter Carnival - 19.01.21
The video was created using Keynote, Photoleap, Motionleap and Videoleap to bring in authenticity by adding custom animations. It was an video invite for the event.
Art Fiesta - 11.02.21
The video was created using Videoleap featuring the artworks of children during an inter-school art competition and trimming to ensure that their best message is heard. It was created using animated text overlays, colourful background and music. The voiceover is done by me.
Congratulations - 05.01.21
The video was created to congratulate the ruler of Dubai for the successful completion of 15 years as the Head of UAE Govt. It was created using Photoleap and Videoleap .
UAE National Day - 02.12.20
The video was created on the occasion of the UAE National Day using Keynote and Videoleap. The picture collage was made using PowerPoint and the animations were done on Keynote while the transitions, music and text overlays were added on Videoleap.
Children's Day - 14.11.20
The video was created on the occasion of the Children's Day celebrated in India. It was created using Clips, Photleap, Motionleap and Videpleap. The various transitions, animations and graphics were added to make fun to watch for the children of the school.
Virtual Sports - 22.09.20
The video was created as an invite for announcing the inter-school sports competition for the schools of the UAE. It was created using Bitmoji and Keynote. All the transitions and animations are done using these apps.

The video was created to express gratitude to the parents of the school for extending their unconditional support during the new phase of virtual learning. It was created on Keynote..
