Goals

Our goals for the 2026-2027 school year are to build our newest rover, gain more funding, and prepare ourselves for the URC 2027 competition.

The Mechanical, Electrical, Science, and Computer Science subteams will all work together to bring our newest rover to life. As of October, we have been making good progress, and even drove it in the Homecoming parade!

Our next goal is to gain more funding so we can build our rover. This involves fundraising and looking for sponsors. However, we also want to look for alternative funding options. One way we already did this is by winning the prize for the recycled boat race.

To prepare for URC 2027, we will be completing a mock competition cycle. In this, we will be familiarizing ourselves with the expectations of the competition, which include the application process and ensuring the rover is built to competition specs.
