For this assignment we were paired in groups and asked to explore global technology in a country outside of the U.S. I was paired with Nilesh and together we compared the digital divide and technology stats. I chose Armenia and I was shocked with the emerging technology projects that the country is working on. This brings tons of jobs to Armenians especially those who specialize in Computer Technology and Software. Nilesh chose Nepal and found that Nepal still faces challenges in bridging the digital divide due to geographical constraints and rural connectivity.
Nepal experiences a diverse climate due to its geographical variations ranging from subtropical in the south and alpine in the north.
Armenia climate has a continental climate, characterized by hot summers and cold winters, with the beautiful Lake Sevan offering a refreshing summer destination.
This was a fun project and my partner was great we both researched on our own then compared the climates. We also captured the digital divide in both Nepal and Armenia and they were very different. Overall it was a great project and I was lucky to be paired with an awesome fellow student.
