I am Professor of Religious Studies Emerita of the College of Professional and Continuing Studies at the University of Oklahoma, Norman, Oklahoma.

My interests include Christian origins, to comprise the date, social location, and literary characteristics of NT writings; ancient literary letters, their varied uses and rhetorical goals; Jewish-Christian relations, as they pertain to constructions of religious identity; rhetorical criticism; and the history of interpretation.
