"The director has two basic responsibilities: (1) to bring about a unified vision within the finished production, and (2) to lead others toward its ultimate actualization. To meet these charges, the director must organize the realization of his or her vision. As a freshman director I am trying my best to fulfill my responsibilities and make this play a beautiful experience for the audience. This play will be a part of the examination of my final academic year. As the show is open for all, we the team of 'The Unposted Letter' cordially invite you all to enjoy the play."
Why this play?
Kafka did not mention any specific time or place i.e. plot time or space in his stories, novels or any literary work. Because his literary works are applicable to all times and places. There are various studies and works on Kafka around the world, but the application of Kafka's literature in our country, especially in stage plays, is not noticeable. But his literary works and their characters speak of the mystical instincts of man, explaining the feelings of man in nightmarish situations. It also depicts surreal situations where people become destitute and lonely. These human truths and feelings should be presented to the audience. Besides, I think that Kafka should be practiced in the theater.
