Important: Packaging Mix-Up – Please Check Your Decks

Hi everyone,

I’m truly sorry to bring more bad news. A backer discovered that although their boxes said Part One and Part Two, both decks held the same cards. My spot checks found the same problem in only some packs.

I’ve already raised this with the manufacturer.

If you receive duplicate cards, please message me on Kickstarter. I will then send you an email from my personal address so you can attach photos. Once confirmed, I will reship the correct deck with full tracking at no extra cost.

This mix-up appears limited to the second batch shipped in July. The first batch that went out in June should be unaffected.

Thank you for your patience and for helping me set this right. I’m sorry for the disappointment and inconvenience.

I just clicked the "Lock Address" button on Kickstarter—and it turns out that it sent a new notification to everyone.

If you’ve already received your cards or got a message from me confirming shipment, you can ignore that notification.

I originally thought the button was only for backers who hadn’t submitted their addresses yet—my bad!

Over the past month I’ve worked around the clock to get production sorted. 

Unfortunately, the original manufacturer messed up about half of my orders. That means I can fulfil roughly 50% of the decks immediately, with the rest (especially later backers) seeing a delay. I’ll continue shipping in pledge-order sequence - if you’re affected, I’ll send you a personal message to keep you in the loop.

For the delayed batch:

• I’ve switched to a new manufacturer, placed the orders, and submitted all designs.

• I expect the replacement decks to arrive in Singapore during the first week of July.

• As soon as they land, I’ll pack and ship the remaining orders. Affected backers should receive their decks by mid- to late July.

Thank you for sticking with me through this hiccup. I’m doing everything I can to get your cards into your hands as quickly as possible!

Thank you again for bringing this project to life! Here’s a quick, transparent status report straight from my desk: 

📝 Surveys & Addresses - ACTION REQUIRED 

• Surveys were emailed at 11 pm (SGT), 2 Jun 2025.

• Kickstarter will automatically send reminder emails if a survey is still blank. 

• The faster your address is confirmed, the faster I can print your label. 

📦 Where Things Stand 

🚚 Fulfilment Plan

1. Weekend blitz. I’ll spend this weekend packing decks, stickers, and handwritten notes. 

2. Pledge-order shipping. Parcels will be dispatched in the order pledges were received. The first 100 sets - expected to arrive within the next few days - go out first. 

3. Hand-written notes. Personal messages add a couple of days, but they’re worth the extra touch. 

4. Tracking vs. Tax. Registered shipping provides tracking only; both registered and unregistered parcels are DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid).
