Greeting & Introduction

こんいちは（konnichiwa)! and welcome to Nihongo Sensei Benkyo! I’m Ringo Sensei, a certified Japanese teacher from Kyushu, Japan, now based in Singapore, with over ten years of classroom and online teaching experience.

Core Mission

My mission is to guide beginner Japanese learners through effective JLPT preparation and cutting-edge language learning tools – empowering thousands to overcome language obstacles and speak with confidence.

Signature Project

As creator of the "Ace Your Japanese: Illustrated Playing Cards with Video" Kickstarter, I transformed 108 high-frequency words into a fun poker deck complete with QR-linked video lessons, blending play with rapid retention.

Iteration & Collaboration

I’m always iterating – right now exploring collaboration with Migaku to fuse immersive media input and spaced-repetition flashcards, tapping into their robust courses and tools for even deeper learning.

Behind the Scenes

A lean admin team handles logistics and support, but every lesson plan, video script and card illustration starts on my desk. I’m the creator and mastermind driving this project forward.
