These Terms of Use govern your use of Sangoria (三國征戰記), provided by Quanzhou Chimu Culture Media Co., Ltd. ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the game, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, stop using the game.
Our Privacy Policy separately explains how information is handled. Distribution through Google Play is also subject to Google's applicable terms.
1. The game and your license
Sangoria (三國征戰記) is a single-player strategy and progression game inspired by the Three Kingdoms. You place and merge character tiles to form troops and generals, deploy units that fight automatically, equip weapons and tactics, and develop farm buildings. Battles are against computer-controlled opponents generated on your device. Local rank progression does not represent competition against live players or a public Google leaderboard.
The current version has no account registration, in-app purchases, advertising SDKs, third-party advertisements, Firebase services, Google Play Games leaderboards, online multiplayer, or chat. Shops and rewards use in-game resources; they are not real-money transactions.
Subject to these terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and play the game on your device for non-commercial entertainment. You receive permission to use the software, not ownership of it.
2. Eligibility and content
You must meet the eligibility requirements and age rating displayed by your app store and any applicable legal requirements. If you are below the age at which you can enter into these terms independently, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to them to the extent required by law.
The game includes stylized battles and fictional depictions of historical characters. It is intended for entertainment; its dialogue, abilities, and progression systems should not be treated as historical instruction.
3. Virtual items and rewards
Coins, resources, troops, generals, weapons, fragments, tactics, buildings, ranks, and other virtual items are game features. They have no cash redemption value and cannot be transferred to another player or redeemed for money or real-world goods through the game.
Some rewards and outcomes involve randomness or depend on your choices and progress. We do not guarantee a particular drop, battle result, or rate of progression. The current version does not offer paid randomized rewards or real-money wagering.
4. Local saves and device changes
Game progress and preferences are stored in app storage on your device. We do not provide a game account, operator-hosted cloud saves, or cross-device synchronization for this version.
Progress can be lost or become unusable if you clear app storage, uninstall the game, lose or damage your device, encounter storage corruption, or install a version that cannot read an earlier save. We cannot retrieve progress from our servers because we do not keep a server copy.
Android or your device provider may back up or transfer app data depending on your settings. These system services are outside our control and do not guarantee successful restoration. Clearing local storage or uninstalling may leave a system backup that can later restore data. The Privacy Policy explains the distinction between local saves and system backups.
5. Acceptable use
You must not:
Use the game for unlawful purposes or infringe another person's rights.
Distribute unauthorized copies, malicious modifications, or software that impersonates this game or its operator.
Bypass technical protections or use unauthorized tools to manipulate game data, except where applicable law expressly permits the activity.
Disrupt the game, our support channels, or websites used to provide the game and its notices.
Exploit the game's software or content commercially without the relevant rights holder's permission.
Restrictions in these terms do not override rights granted by applicable law or by the licenses of third-party or open-source components.
6. Intellectual property
Rights in the game's software, original artwork, text, audio, and other protected content belong to us or their respective rights holders. Historical names and public-domain material do not become our exclusive property merely because they appear in the game.
Third-party engines, fonts, music, and other components remain subject to their own licenses. These terms do not grant ownership of third-party trademarks or remove permissions granted under those licenses.
7. Updates and availability
We may release updates to fix errors, improve compatibility, or change content and game balance. Features and save formats may change. Where appropriate, we will describe significant changes in release notes or other notices.
We may suspend distribution or support, or discontinue the game, for operational, technical, legal, or app-store reasons. Where required by law, we will provide notice and any remedies that apply. Store availability, device compatibility, and successful backup restoration are not guaranteed.
8. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the game is provided "as is" and "as available", without a guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not guarantee that every device is compatible or that every saved game can be restored.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the game. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including applicable mandatory consumer rights and liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusions are prohibited.
9. Ending use
You may stop using the game at any time and uninstall it. See the Privacy Policy for local-data and backup deletion options.
We may terminate your permission to use the game for a material breach of these terms, subject to applicable law and any notice or opportunity to remedy the breach that the law requires. Clauses concerning intellectual property, liability, and dispute resolution continue to apply where relevant after use ends.
10. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms and update the effective date above. We will provide notice of material changes through an appropriate channel, such as the game or store release notes. Where applicable law requires your agreement, we will obtain it before the revised terms apply. If you do not accept the revised terms, you may stop using the game.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, excluding conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory laws in your place of residence require otherwise.
Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a dispute. Subject to mandatory consumer protections, disputes may be brought before courts with jurisdiction in Quanzhou, Fujian, People's Republic of China. Nothing in this clause removes any right you have under mandatory law to bring proceedings in your place of residence or to use another legally available remedy.
