Healthcare inequity poses a significant global challenge. Addressing this issue can have a profound positive impact on women's health, which is crucial for the prosperity of societies and economies. This datathon aims to investigate whether disparities in treatments exist and to understand the underlying factors driving these biases, including demographic and societal influences.
In the first datathon challenge, we explored the relationship between socioeconomic factors and health equity. In this upcoming challenge, we are expanding upon that analysis to examine how climate patterns influence access to healthcare.
Metastatic triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) is the most aggressive form of TNBC, necessitating urgent and timely treatment. Delays in diagnosis and subsequent treatment can have severe consequences for these challenging cancers. Variations in the time to treatment serve as a strong indicator of disparities in healthcare access.
Our goal was to predict the duration it takes for patients to receive a metastatic cancer diagnosis.
