For this project , we created a product that coprrelated to a certain brand we were working for , where we used different elements of the brand and incooperated it into our work, as well as to use more unconventional materials that would promote sustainability in our products . In the mean time , we also experimented with a "convertible" system , so the product has more than 1 uses.
1ST USE :
It can be used as leg warmers to spice up outfits. It has keyrings attached for it to be adjustible according to different sizes
2ND USE :
It converts into a sleeve piece , where the flower panels act as a shoulder piece and the leg warmers become sleeves
COMPONENTS :
I used magazine paper as well as bubble wrap to make the flower panels as to utilize unconventional items to be sustainable , then used a white denim with raw draying edges and handstitched bubbly floral designs on the white denim to elevate the aesthetics of the product
In this project , we had to identify two brands , one fashion brand and one non fashion brand , and create a collaboration between the two. This then serves as the collection we have to make a garment for. I had Aniye records and Tord boontje collaborate with each other and made a dress that incooperated both distinct elements of each brand

5 FINAL RENDERED LOOKS
The distinct style of a feminine and fluid dress that Aniye records were known for is something i wanted to ultimately incooperate into the final look. With the warm and pastel colors of pink and the use of satin , it emulates a more heartwarming vibe to the overall dress which corresponded with my theme of "What the heart desires". I also wanted to use alot of ruffles and flounces in my dress as it was a recognizable technique used in many of Aniye's collections
The distinct style of the fluid wires with floral designs were to imitate the overall vibe of Tord boontje and his craft. He often did many works that seemed delicate yet also structured. The wire piece was hand twisted with multiple wires together to make it sturdy , while also bending them in organic shapes that could give off a more fluid movement , as well as adding on floral elements made of the wires that Tord liked to base his works on
