The use of adobe photoshop in moodboards was a crucial skill taught in this module , where we strategically selected certain photos and elements to be put into the moodboard that could emit the overall vibe we wanted to go for , as well as it to make the moodboard look cohesive for clients and audiences to understand the intentions behind it
While these mood and material boards were not made for this particular module , but it is from this module that i was able to pick up skills on how to make a moodboard cohesive and inspirational as well as how to further branch out my ideas when looking at the boards. I have also able to quickly pick up what materials would be suitable for each component that i am working on and also which colors would be suit the overll vibe of the product or garment
we did mood boards and material boards that captured the overall vibe and aesthetic of the style as well as the materials that will be used in the final collection and combine it all into one cohesive board
I was taught to render and photoshop outfits that corresponded with the theme i was going for : decora , and make a collection of 5 differnet outfits into personalised models which i rendered into dolls. i manipulated and wrapped different textures of fabric and even objects and pieced them altogether into one outfit that matched the theme i was going for . On top of that , we also had to pick 2 different products to render into the style and aesthetic of the subculture we were going for.
In accordance to the decora theme , i rendered a bag and hat to fit the decora aesthetic
These were the final rendered outfits of a decora collection that i was working on
To finally allow the decora subculture to come alive, i switched the models into dolls which were quite prominent in the decora subculture and i felt it would also encapsulate unique touch of decora
