Reading Advocate

I am an advocate for reading - both reading for learning and reading for pleasure. My experience as a classroom teacher provides me with a strong grounding in CCSS for literacy, speaking, and listening skills. My role as a Library Media Specialist provides me with the perspective of a reading advocate, encouraging every child to fall in love with reading and developing into a life-long reader.

These titles range in genres and text complexities, providing a truly diverse and multicultural analysis of literature and informational texts. These are all texts that I have read, analyzed, and recorded to use in the future as a reading advocate for children and adults.
