Assignment 9: The Final

This assignment was a choice assignment. That means that it was up to the students to decide what to present for our final. 

I have a deep connection to music. I wanted to visually interpret some of my favourite songs through my photography, so I decided to dive deeper into the Self Portrait assignment, and make various collages representing 5 different songs. Although I’m a visual learner, I still struggle to learn without music. I took my pictures with my father, so he helped me set up the camera and figure out the best locations to shoot. I cut myself out of the picture, used different pieces of clipart, and drew on the work to bring the piece together as a collage. I think using myself as part of the picture, and displaying my work in such a way gives a little peek into my brain, as well as the way I think.
