Math Cycle
I am a founder and a former organizer and mentor for Ohio State's Math Cycle Program.
Math Cycle, or Cycle, is program for undergraduates at Ohio State that are interested in both exploring math research and learning about the mathematics community at OSU. Cycle is dedicated to fostering a more inclusive, diverse, and equitable undergraduate experience as well as to aiding students as they transition from high school to undergraduate studies. It is a largely student-run organization developed in collaboration between graduate and undergraduate students.
Each year, Cycle pairs undergraduate students with graduate student mentors from the mathematics and statistics department to conduct year-long research projects in various disciplines. Each April, Cycle hosts an annual Math Cycle Conference for undergraduates at Ohio State where students can present their research in poster format. The conference is also a day of fun activities and engaging talks for the entire mathematics community at Ohio State.
Check the Cycle website for more details.
