1. Data Cleaning, Transformation, and Loading (PL-300 Lab 02)
What I Did: Connected to raw data sources, cleaned up formatting inconsistencies, transformed tables, and loaded the prepared data into Power BI to ready it for semantic modeling.
How I Did It: Used Power Query Editor to inspect data quality, remove errors, adjust data types, structure columns correctly, and ensure clean relational inputs before loading the dataset into the Power BI model.
2. Configuring Semantic Models (PL-300 Lab 03)
What I Did: Structured the foundational data model by defining relationships and configuring properties for a robust reporting environment.
How I Did It: Established active and inactive table relationships, set up proper cardinality (such as one-to-many joins), configured data categories, and organized fields to support accurate cross-filtering and calculations.
