Niall Taggart

I'm a homotopy theorist interested in functor calculus and the chromatic, equivariant, and stable aspects of homotopy theory. I have a growing interest in higher/model category theory and, tensor-triangulated geometry.

I am currently an Onderzoeker (Researcher) in the Mathematical Institute at Utrecht University working under the mentorship of Gijs Heuts.

During the spring semester of 2022, I participated in the research program Higher algebraic structures in algebra, topology, and geometry, taking place at Institut Mittag-Leffler.

Before coming to Utrecht, I was a postdoctoral fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics under the mentorship of Tobias Barthel, and a Ph.D. student in the Mathematical Sciences Research Centre at Queen's University Belfast under the supervision of David Barnes.
