Meet Info

All swimmers who have not qualified in at least 2 events are required to swim at the KingCo Invitational.  This meet will be your last opportunity to qualify for KingCo Championships.  If after this meet, you have not qualified for KingCo in at least 1 event, your season is over and no longer need to attend practice.  

Although there is no diving at the KingCo Invitational, there are multiple dive meet qualifiers where you have an opportunity to put your 11 dive list together. 

All swimmers with any KingCo time are required to attend this meet.  

After the preliminary sessions, the top 4 from each 4A school are pooled, and the top 12 from this group qualify to swim at finals.  We will also advance one relay.  It is most likely we will have someone on our team get top 12 in an event but not be allowed to swim because they are 5th on our team.  

All athletes that have completed an 11 dive competition are allowed to participate at the KingCo meet.  

Right after the completion of KingCo meet, team coaches will select 4 individuals in each event to participate in the District Championships.

There will be several qualifiers that won't be able to participate at Districts because of the size of our team.  

We also will select 8 qualifiers for each relay, and these individuals will automatically be on our State Championships roster.  State entries are due immediately following the District meet.

The State Championships meet will be held at KCAC, and it's the final competition of the season.
