I am an Economist at the World Bank and a Visiting Scholar at Brown University. I am based in Washington D.C. Before that, I was Postdoctoral Research Associate and Adjunct Professor in Economic Policy at Brown University. I hold a PhD in Economics from the University of Rome 'Tor Vergata', an MSc in Political Economy of Europe from the London School of Economics, and a BA in Political Science from LUISS Guido Carli. I have worked at the European Central Bank in the International and European Relations directorate and at the Bank of England in the Financial Stability, Strategy and Risk directorate and in the EU Withdrawal Unit (Prudential Policy Directorate). I was also a consultant for the Inter-American Development Bank and the European Central Bank. I am originally from Verona, Italy.
