INFORMATION
All dancers performing at Next Step events or competing under the Next Step Dance Studio must be enrolled (taking classes and training) at Next Step Dance..
Dancers are required to have a Next Step Dance Studio teacher choreograph their routine.
Plan on 3-8 rehearsals to learn, practice, and prepare to perform/compete.
The number of rehearsals needed is determined by the dancer’s age, ability level, dedication to practicing at home, length of routine, difficulty of routine, etc.
Lesson costs are booked at our “Private Lesson” tuition rate: $65- $95 per hour.
Music editing is billed at $20 per 15 min. increments.
Dancers and parents will need to discuss costuming with their teacher/choreographer. Dancers are required to provide/purchase their own costume for their routine.
Dancers will self-select their duo, trio, or small group.
Dancers may also self-select the genre for their routine and have an opportunity to collaborate with the teacher/choreographer regarding the music selection.
