HIRE FEES & SET UP/CLEAR AWAY POLICY

Introduction

This policy defines the agreed hire rates and any free time allowed to set up and clear a way. It includes the arrangements for reviewing this policy.

Our Ethos

To provide social and recreational purposes for the village and its surrounding areas.

Part A - The Hire Fees

The rooms are hired for a minimum of one hour and then multiple hours can be booked.  

1. The hire fee categories 

•     Residents of Wincham Village 

•     Non Residents 

•     Party Rate

•     Business Rate 

     2.   The hourly rates from 1.6.24

•    Residents of Wincham Village:

Main Hall   Joan Webb Room             Committee Room

£ 17.50   £8.40         £ 7.40

•     Non Residents

Main Hall   Joan Webb Room           Committee Room   

 £19.00                        £9.40                             £ 7.90

•      Party Rate 3 hours in the hall ( 2 hour party  plus 30 minute either side to  

                                                       set up and clear away) - No Concession

•     Commercial Rate (For ‘Profit’ Groups, Business users & Statutory  

                                  Organisation)

    Part B - Allowance for setting up and clearing away

Unlike other large halls the management committee have agreed to allow free set up and clearing away time for large events held in the main hall who are paying the standard resident or non resident hourly fees, for two hours or more as outlined below:

Main hall 

For a two hour hire or more, it has been agreed to allow a maximum of 30 minutes free time to set up and a maximum of 30 minutes free time to clear away.

NB: This is not permitted for a one hour hire. 

Joan Webb Room

The management committee felt that it was important to keep the hire fees for this room to a minimum. As a result there is no free time to set up or clear away. 

Please make provision for this when booking.
