The British Empire or whatever remains of it is now located in the remains of the British Raj. After the authoritarians took over England, the royal family was forced to flee to India as Canada also fell. The Red Coats and the British armies occupied the land of the raj, this displeased many of the populace who launched many violent riots against the royal family, but after a few months of unrest, the Red Coats quelled the insurgents. To appease the locals, the queen elected Indira Gandhi as prime minister since she was also a local.  The rights of the people are greatly ignored here as the government is wary of anyone who speaks against the queen or parliament.
