Sunday worship will take place both in the church and synchronously on Zoom!
We believe that the Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, to be the inspired Word of God, divinely inspired, without error in the original writings, the complete revelation of His will for salvation of humans, and that it is absolute trustworthy and supremely authoritative in matters of Christian faith and morals which should be adhered to as the guidance for all the social behaviors and values and it is above legal definitions and/or redefinitions by any political or judicial bodies (Ps. 119:2-6; 2 Tim. 3:16). This includes, but is not limited to, the definition of biblical marriage being a traditional, natural marriage as the uniting of one man and one woman in covenant commitment for a lifetime (Gen. 1:27, 2:22-25; Mal. 2:14-16; Eph 5:31).
We believe in the One Living and True God (Jer. 10:10), eternally existing and in Three Persons (Gen. 1:1-3; Luke 1:35; Matt. 3:16-17; Rom. 1:3-4; Acts 2:33; Rev. 4:8-11): Father, Son and Holy Spirit – the Creator and Preserver of the Universe (Rom. 11:36).
We believe that Jesus Christ is truly God and truly man (John 1:18), having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary (Luke 1:35, Matt. 1:20). He lived a sinless life (Matt. 26:60; John 18:38; 19:6; 2 Cor. 5:21). He died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures (Matt. 20:28; Rom. 8:3; Phil. 2:8). Further, He rose bodily from the dead (Matt. 28:6; Luke 24:36-43; 1 Cor. 15:4-8), ascended into heaven (Luke 24:51; Acts 1:9), where at the right hand of the Majesty on High, He now is our High Priest and Advocate (Heb.7:24), And He will return personally in the Last Day (Matt. 24:30, 26:64; 1 Thess. 4:16).
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the third Person of the Triune Godhead of one substance and co-existent with the Father and the Son. (John 16:14, 14:26, 15:26, 16:7). We believe that the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ (John 16:14), and affects the work of creation (Gen. 1:2) and salvation (Rom 1:4, 8:11; 1 Tim. 3:16; Acts 1:2), during this age to convict men, regenerate the believing sinner, indwell, guide, instruct and empower the believer for godly living and service (John 16:8, 14: 16-17; Rom. 8:2, 5-11).
We believe that man was created in the image of God but fell into sin and is therefore lost (Rom. 5:12, 14; 3:23) and only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can salvation and spiritual life be obtained (Titus 3:5-7). We believe that the shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only ground for justification and salvation for all who believe by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ (1 Pet. 1:2-3; Rom. 3:22-24), and only such as receive Jesus Christ are born of the Holy Spirit, and thus become children of God (John 1:12, 13).
We believe that those who are justified are also sanctified by the Holy Spirit so that they are enabled to live a godly life on earth (John 17:14-19; 1 Pet. 1:2; Rom. 8:12-14; Gal. 5:22-25).
We believe that the Church is the Body of Christ consisting of members who are truly reborn by the Holy Spirit and who committed to the Lord’s ministry in worship, service and fellowship (Matt. 28:19- 20; Acts 2:41).
We believe that in the Last Day, Christ will return visibly and personally (Matt. 24:30; 26:64; 1 Thess. 4:16) to judge the living and the dead, to rapture the church (John 5:25-29; Matt. 16:27; 25:31-36; 2 Thess. 1:7-10) and to usher in a new heaven and a new earth (John 14:2-3; 1 Thess. 4:14-17; Rev. 14:14-16). There will be a bodily resurrection of believers unto eternal life and of unbelievers unto eternal condemnation (1 Cor. 15:35, 42-45; Phil. 3:21; John 5:29; Rev. 20:5-6, 13-15).
