MLK Day of Service Cleanup
Join Newton County 4-H in honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy by participating in the Keep Newton Beautiful MLK Day of Service Cleanup. This is a wonderful opportunity for young people and families to pledge their hands to larger service and make a positive impact in our community. Please note that this event is sponsored by Keep Newton Beautiful and is not a drop-off event. Let’s work together to keep Newton beautiful and show the power of service!

4-H Club Night is a free community meeting held monthly, from September to April, for youth in grades K-12. These meetings highlight activities that include, but are not limited to, cooking, STEM, and leadership.

4-H Day at the State Capitol (Grades 7-12)
Newton County 4-H in grades 7-12 are invited to experience an unforgettable day at the Georgia State Capitol! This special event is your chance to meet state leaders, learn about the legislative process, and showcase the impact of 4-H in our communities. Don’t miss this opportunity to represent Newton County 4-H and see firsthand how government works. Space is limited to the first 12 youth call or visit the 4-H office to register and pay.

4-H Homeschool Council (Grades PreK-12)
The Newton County 4-H Homeschool Council is a dynamic group of homeschool youth who meet monthly. Whether you're new to 4-H or a returning member, the Homeschool Council is a great way to get involved, make friends, and grow! We look forward to seeing you at the November Homeschool Council meeting!

4-H Summer Camp Registration (Grades 4-12)
We know it is cold outside, but summer days will be here before you know it! Summer brings some of the BEST weeks ever at 4-H Summer Camp! Join us for fun-filled adventures, new friendships, and memories that will last a lifetime! From swimming and archery to crafts and campfires, there’s something for everyone! Camp registration opens February 12 from 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM at the 4-H office. Initial registration must be completed in person. Space is limited and is first-come, first-served.
*Youth that participate in District Project Achievement or have submitted a Portfolio may register early starting on February 9 from 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM at the 4-H office.
**After February 12th, you can register at the office during normal business hours.
4-H Cookie Contest (Grades K-12)
Get out those yummy cookie recipes; it's time for the 4-H cookie contest! Bake one dozen of your most scrumptious tasting cookies, fill out the attached entry form, box them up, and deliver them to the 4-H office front office by 10 AM on February 13th! You will earn 30 involved incentive points for entering the contest.
