Feedback obtained from this form:

Students were very pleased with the mobility. All the activities were rated above 8.0/10 points, except for the visits to the museums, that were rated at 6.5/10. Nevertheless, the students agreed that the visits and activities were well suited to achieve the project (8.4/10).

They rated the support received prior to the trip at 8.8/10, which was very encouraging since it was the first mobility of the project.

The students’ favorite activities were the day out in Düsseldorf and the free time with their partners.

Students were very pleased with the accomodation (in German families), the food, the commodities and the organization.

However we could notice that, although the students were on average very pleased with the communication among peers, some of them rated it as low as 2/10 or 3/10, whereas others considered it was worth 10/10. Such discrepancies were confirmed by some of the comments: some students suggested the groups should be changed. We understood there were interpersonal problems between some of the students.

The students said that they evaluated their progress in English at 6.5/10 on average. We would have liked a higher score, but on such a short period, this was foreseeable!

2. MOBILITY 2: BARCELONA (virtual mobility)

This Google Form was made by Neus Cros Jordana for her students in Spain. The Form deals with the activities and field trips made in Barcelona, so there was no reason to ask the French and German students to fill it out. Here are some results and Mrs Cros Jordana’s interpretation.

Here's how the Spanish students evaluated the Virtual Mobility Week held in Barcelona from the 3rd to the 7th May 2021.

Students seem to have particularly liked the visit to the Vertical Farm and the Mars exhibition. Furthermore, they found the Cardona Mountain Salt to be really interesting too.

Most of them agree that the Virtual Mobility activities helped them to improve their communication and collaboration skills, but also to have had the chance to work with their Erasmus + partners in-person and in a virtual way.

Most of our students enjoyed the Virtual Mobility Week and rated it really well.

Here are some of their comments:

How did the Covid-19 pandemic impact your work on this Virtual Mobility?

“ The COVID-19 pandemic didn't affect us, but our French and German partners couldn't do any excursion because they were in lockdown.”
“ The COVID-19 pandemic didn't have an impact on our virtual mobility.”

“ I think it has helped me to have more time for this project although I would have liked to be able to meet in-person my Erasmus + new friends. “

“ Amazing!”

The results are clear....

ALMOST ALL THE STUDENTS WOULD LOVE TO TAKE PART IN ANOTHER ERASMUS + PROJECT !!!!

3. MOBILITY 3: BORDEAUX (hybrid mobility)

During this mobility, the Spanish students came to Gustave Eiffel high school in Bordeaux, but the German partners had to cancel their trip due to a surge of COVID-19 infections in Germany.

We can see here that the interpersonal and intercultural dimension of the project was what students enjoyed the most.

We can see here that the most popular activities were the Bassins des Lumières, a very modern art exhibition that uses music and projection to display artworks, and also collaborative activities: groupwork and the treasure hunt, that was made in transnational teams.

In this question, once again, the collaborative and communicative values of the project stand out.

How did the Covid-19 pandemic impact your work on this last mobility in Bordeaux?

Selected answers:

They needed to sleep at the hotel, we needed sanitary pass and it would have been nice if we went in Spain next”

“There is not the german partners”

“We didn't made a goodbye partie:(

German students weren't present too so we had to communicate in an other way”

“The COVID-19 didn't impact our work because we could work in person at school. However, the French and German students couldn't come to Barcelona.”

“It got cancelled, work was only possible through virtual communication”

We can see here that a vast majority of students rated the mobility between 8/10 and 10/10. The students who gave a poor evaluation to the mobility were German students who were not able to travel to France.

What is your overall impression about the mobility week in Bordeaux? Would you provide any suggestions for improvement?

Selected answers:

“I think 3 1/2 days is a bit short to get to know each other”

“I think it's a very good experience. Ça aurait été encore mieux en famille d'accueil”

“Didn’t get to participate much but it was really fun”

“It was really cool maybe if we had to talk more to each others before it would be better”

“It was a really good mobility and i feel that i improved my english skills and i learned with our partners.”

“The mobility to Bordeaux was interesting and fun. The thing I liked the most was the Botanical Garden and the skate park.”

“The mobility week in Bordeaux was a really good one. What I liked the most was meeting the French students and shooting the videos.”

“The trip by plane is very good, the hotel is very correct. I really enjoyed meeting new students from outside my country and spending a few days with them. I would repeat the trip again and Erasmus+.”

“The virtual work was mostly good, I can't judge the trip itself though”

“I loved the Bordeaux mobility. I liked it because I traveled with friends. In addition, it was the first time I left Spain by plane and because in the end we worked in person with French friends.”

“I hope we will be able to go to Bordeaux another time”

As we can see, after the mobility to Bordeaux, the students were enthusiastic about aking part in another Erasmus+ project.
