There is a desperate need for foster parents in the state of Ohio. With approximately 60,000 children in care and fewer than 7500 licensed foster homes, many children are being placed in group homes and congregate care settings.
We believe that every child deserves a loving home and a caring family to guide and support them. Teens, sibling groups and children with special needs are especially at-risk and in need of adults to step up to provide care for them.
Please contact us at 567-560-9021 or email us at sclose@newmercyoutreach.com for more information about becoming licensed for foster care. Our foster parents receive paid training, on-going support, access to a 24/7 crisis line staffed by a license social worker, respite care services, and fellowship with a network of experienced foster mentors.
