Worship services begin at 10:00 am every Sunday, rain or shine, and we invite you to join us for coffee and light refreshments after the service. Synopsis of this week's sermon: Why do people who receive the same opportunities often make such different choices? In Jesus' parable of the two sons, the difference is not in what they received, but in how they responded. This message explores the relationship between obedience, grace, and discipleship, reminding us that God is always more interested in our next response than our last one.

Christmas Bazaar - Vendors needed!
On Saturday, November 21st, we are holding a Christmas Craft Sale and Luncheon. For the craft sale, tables will be rented to vendors. If you have a hobby or product that you would like to sell, contact us to reserve your table.
Bible Study continues on Tuesdays at 1 pm
This fall, join our Tuesday Bible Study as we journey through Psalm 119, the longest psalm in Scriptures, and one of the richest reflections on living a life shaped by God’s Word.
Within its 22 sections, Psalm 119 invites us into a slow, steady walk with the God who speaks—guiding, comforting, correcting, and anchoring us through every aspect of life.
Together, we’ll explore themes of faithfulness, perseverance, delight, and holy longing, and discover how this ancient psalm can renew our spiritual life today.
We’ll take a close look at one stanza at a time, listening for the Spirit’s wisdom and share how God’s Word is forming us in daily life.
Whether you’re new to Bible Study or returning with familiar friends, this will be a gentle, thoughtful space to grow in faith and community.
Join us Tuesdays at 1pm. for 45 minutes as we open our hearts to the God whose Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path.

We are starting a food drive in September, heading up to Thanksgiving. Donations can be placed in the box at the back of the church. As we clean out our gardens, fresh produce is welcome. And as usual, monetary donations are always welcomed. For this special food drive, we would ask that the cheques be made out to New Hope United Church, but designate for the food drive. Please give cheques to David Willis.
