Team

Surf Team members are also part of the Club, but are required to attend additional team practices that focus on competing in surf contests hosted by the Santa Cruz Scholastic Surf League (SCSSL). Team roster spots are limited, and awarded based on skill, behavior/attitude, and grade level.

Requirements: intermediate to advanced surfing ability. Team members must attend the majority of team practices or risk not being included on the contest roster.

Surf Team will practice Wednesdays at the Hook 3:30-5:00 pm starting August 20th. There will be additional events scheduled. Contest season begins in September. Participation fee is $250. Participants will receive some branded merchandise with their registration fee as well as a T-Shirt from the Santa Cruz Scholastic Surf League (SCSSL) at the end of the season.
