FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
We are announcing new office hour starting this May! The new hours will be Friday 12-5 and Saturday 8-12.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
We treat a wide range of musculoskeletal and movement-related conditions, including back pain, neck pain, vertigo, headaches, TMJD, joint and muscle pain, sports injuries, and overuse injuries. Care is also commonly provided for conditions such as sciatica, disc-related pain, tendinopathies, stenosis, and mobility or strength limitations following injury. Dr. Rose can treat both spinal and non-spinal regions of the body.
Chiropractic care is also safe for pregnant individuals and children. Dr. Rose also sees personal injury and workers' compensation cases.
He can also provide wellness or maintenance care to individuals not presenting with a musculoskeletal complaint (however, most insurance plans do not cover this kind of care, see self-pay information below).
Treatment is individualized and based on clinical findings and your personal goals. If chiropractic or rehabilitative care is not appropriate for your condition, we will discuss alternative options or refer you to another provider to ensure you receive the most appropriate care.
We are working behind the scenes to become in-network with the following insurance companies:
Blue Cross Blue Shield
MVP
Cigna
Federal Medicare
Vermont Medicaid/VHAP
We will mark each insurer above with the date we become in-network as the credentialing process is completed. We thank you for your patience!
In the meantime, check with your insurance company to find out if you have out-of-network benefits for chiropractic care. If you do, we can provide you with a superbill you can submit to your insurance company within their filing deadline for reimbursement. In this scenario, you would be responsible for the cost of care at the time of service.

Yes! You will be provided a good-faith estimate for the cost of services being rendered before treatment. Payment is due at the time of service. Payment plan arrangements may be considered on a case-by-case and contractual basis at the discretion of Dr. Rose. There are no visit limits with self-pay care.
No, referrals are not typically necessary to receive chiropractic services. However, referral requirements vary by insurance plan. If you’re unsure, please check with your insurance provider.
During the first visit, Dr. Rose will perform a thorough history and physical examination to determine if you are a good candidate for chiropractic care. Your treatment goals and care preferences will be discussed, in addition to any previous treatment you may have had. Oftentimes, Dr. Rose can deliver treatment on the first visit. In some cases, imaging or a referral to another provider may be necessary before receiving treatment.
While some practices routinely obtain X-rays for all new patients, current clinical guidelines do not support imaging unless specific criteria are met. At NACR, X-rays and other forms of imaging are ordered only when they are clinically indicated. If at any point during your care Dr. Rose determines that imaging is appropriate, he will discuss this with you and provide an order for X-ray or other advanced imaging as needed.
Our office does not have imaging services in-house. If imaging is required, Dr. Rose can provide an imaging order that can be completed at the CVMC imaging department. He will be able to review the images and corresponding report digitally through the Epic/MyChart system as a referring provider.
