Government

Though officially a monarchy, we have employed socialist factors in our government. We aim to focus only on the "good" aspects of socialism including equality and the even distribution of necessities. We do not intend for anti-monarchists or anti-socialists to see us as evil or wrong and instead, we would like to help them understand that we are unlike the other, well-known oppressive regimes.  

Vanumia's government is founded on principles of equality, social justice, and collective responsibility. The government structure of Vanumia revolves around two leaders, the King and the Governor General. The King serves as the ceremonial monarch and has little say, though ultimate rule in making decisions and formulating policies that align with the monarchist-egalitarian ideology of the nation. The Governor General of Vanumia is responsible for most all of the decision-making, ruling, and overseeing of the micronation. 

The government of Vanumia actively promotes participation and engagement from its citizens, allowing them to have a semi-direct say in decision-making processes through government movements and occasional community assemblies. This inclusive and egalitarian approach to governance sets Vanumia apart as a beacon of progressive ideals, striving to create a society that prioritizes the well-being and empowerment of its people.
